Yamen, a young and brave soul from Gaza, showcased extraordinary courage following severe injuries. Despite suffering from shrapnel wounds that ravaged his abdomen, legs, and arms, Yamen remained stoic, his resolve unwavering amidst the pain. At a mere 20 kilograms, Yamen is now poised for a critical surgery to mend his wounds.

Thanks to the State of Qatar and our Treatment Abroad Team Yamen has been evacuated with his mother to Qatar for medical care. Yamen is one of tens of children’s evacuated for treatment globally under our Treatment Abroad Team.

Yamen, as described to us by his mother, is not just her brave son but a symbol of hope and perseverance for all. We, at PCRF, stand in awe of the bravery he continues to display and we will be with him every step of the way.
