Successful Evacuation of Children from Gaza to Italy for Urgent Medical Treatment

The PCRF Treatment Abroad Team has successfully evacuated eight children from Gaza to Italy for medical treatment, accompanied by their mothers and siblings. PCRF also supported the evacuation of eight other patients on the same flight. These brave children, ranging from newborns to 17 years old, were in Egypt and are facing severe medical conditions, including heart disease, fractures, infections, and burns. Thanks to this mission, they will soon receive the life-saving care they urgently need. This mission was made possible through the coordination of the World Health Organization, the European Commission Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid, and with the support of the governments of Egypt and Italy, as well as Protezione Civile Italia. We extend our deepest gratitude to the PCRF Treatment Abroad team for their tireless work in organizing these vital missions and to our PCRF Italia staff and volunteers for their dedication and ongoing support.
