For the third time this year, PCRF deployed a kidney transplant mission led by Dr. Walid Masoud, Vascular and Kidney Transplant Surgeon, who travelled from Jordan to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to provide specialised surgical care. Held from July 10–14, 2026, the mission resulted in six kidney transplant surgeries, bringing life-saving care closer to patients while reducing the financial burden of treatment. Beyond providing direct surgical care, these missions help reduce waiting lists, ease pressure on the local healthcare system, and strengthen local capacity through training that equips doctors with the skills needed to perform kidney transplants independently in the future. This ongoing programme takes place annually, with our long-term, incredible volunteer and friend, Dr. Masoud, travelling to Palestine multiple times each year to support patients and advance local medical expertise.
