Delivering Orthopedic Care to Children Who Need It in Jordan

A new PCRF orthopedic surgery mission was carried out in two phases at Al Hanan Hospital in Amman, Jordan, from 2–5 July and 23–27 July, led by volunteer orthopedic surgeons Dr. Ebeed Salem, Dr. Saleh Elsawafi, and Dr. Mohamed Mahrous. Across both phases, the team screened 88 children, eight of whom underwent surgeries, providing life-changing care to children with complex bone, muscle, and joint conditions. Through the dedication of the volunteer medical team, children gained access to specialized treatment that helps restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life, bringing them one step closer to healthier, more active futures. We are deeply grateful to the doctors who travelled from Oman to volunteer their time and expertise, transforming the lives of children living through difficult circumstances and leaving a lasting impact on their health.
