In June, 238 children from the West Bank, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt received critical surgical care through PCRF’s Surgical Sponsorship Program. Among them was Batoul, a two-year-old from Akkar, Lebanon, whose life was at risk due to a serious fluid buildup in her brain. Through the program, she received the urgent specialized surgery she needed, and her condition is now stable as she begins her recovery. For Batoul’s family, this life-saving treatment would have been out of reach without support. Her story reflects hundreds of children whose lives have been transformed through timely surgeries, helping them move, breathe, play, and grow without the pain and limitations they once faced. Thanks to everyone who makes these surgeries possible, more children are receiving the care they need, and families are finding renewed hope for a healthier future.
