From May 12 to May 26, 2026, PCRF deployed Emergency Medical Mission #26 to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al Balah. The mission was led by Dr. Hafedh Fessi, a Nephrologist, and Dr. Marta Casassa, an Anesthesia and ICU Specialist, who worked alongside local healthcare teams during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
During the mission, Dr. Fessi provided consultations and follow-up for renal failure patients in the dialysis department at Al-Aqsa Hospital while mentoring local physicians. Dr. Casassa worked with anesthesia teams in the operating rooms of both hospitals, supporting surgical care under challenging conditions.
