From March 31 to April 14, 2026, PCRF deployed Gaza Emergency Medical Mission #24 to Nasser Hospital, bringing urgent, life-saving care to patients amid one of the most challenging humanitarian crises. The voluntary mission was led by Dr. Yvonne Ying, Plastic Surgeon, and supported by Dr. Tarek Ashour, Specialist in plastic, lower limb, and hand trauma surgery, Dr. Thomas Muller, Anesthesia and ICU Specialist, and Dr. Tarek Essa, Anesthesia and ICU Specialist. Together with local medical staff, the team reached 145 patients and carried out 113 surgeries, addressing complex and often critical cases under immense pressure and limited resources. The mission also placed strong emphasis on the sustainability of care through a series of targeted lectures and hands-on collaboration aimed at sharing knowledge and strengthening the capacities of local medical staff. We extend our deep gratitude to the team for helping restore hope, relieve pain, and offer patients who have nowhere else to turn a chance at recovery despite hardship.
