Performing Life-Saving Kidney Transplants in the West Bank

From April 15 to 19, 2026, PCRF carried out a specialized, volunteer-led medical mission focused on kidney transplantation at the Palestine Medical Complex (PMC) in Ramallah, West Bank. The mission was led by Dr. Walid Masoud, a vascular surgeon and long-term PCRF volunteer, in close collaboration with Dr. Murad Barakat and the PMC medical team. Alongside performing five critical surgeries, Dr. Masoud provided hands-on training to strengthen local Palestinian medical capacity and support self-sufficiency in delivering specialized care. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Masoud and the entire medical team for their dedication and continued commitment to advancing medical care for patients in Palestine.
