From October 30 to November 7, PCRF carried out a critical maxillofacial and cleft surgical mission in the West Bank, offering hope to children who rarely have access to the specialized care they need. Led by Dr. Imad Al Tamimi, President of PCRF’s Medical Advisory Board, the mission brought together dedicated volunteer surgeons from around the world — including Dr. Khaled Abu Ghazaleh, Dr. Luis Alvarez Varela from Costa Rica, and Dr. Yazan Abu Khalaf from the UAE — while five additional volunteers were denied entry from the Israeli side. At Alia Hospital in Hebron and Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, the team screened 103 children and performed 26 life-changing surgeries. PCRF remains deeply grateful to every medical volunteer whose compassion and commitment made this healing possible for the children and families who needed it most.
