This week, the PCRF in partnership with the Little Wings Foundation, from Dubai, began an orthopedic medical mission at European Gaza Hospital to provide needed surgical care to children suffering from orthopedic complications who do not have access to surgery locally.

The team is led by German pediatric orthopedic surgeon and long-time medical volunteer Dr. Marc Sinclair, and he is joined by surgeon Dr. Levan Kajaia, orthopedist Sofyan Tebbi, nurses Gillian Beale, June Kate Bangkaya, and Daisy Rhae, and medical coordinator Seonaid Biagioni.

The team examined 74 children on the first day of their mission and has begun performing life-changing surgeries, accompanied by local medical staff to provide much-needed training to assist in developing the local healthcare sector.
