Medical Shoes and Devices Provided to 18 Children in North Gaza

Eighteen children in North Gaza living with walking difficulties received medical shoes and mobility-support devices this week, helping them walk more safely and with dignity. The distribution was part of the ongoing One-Time Medical Sponsorship Medical Program, which supports children with urgent medical needs across the Gaza Strip, West Bank, Jordan, and Lebanon.

Each child was assessed to ensure the appropriate medical equipment was provided according to their condition. Despite the ongoing war, border closures, and the severe shortage of supplies, the aid reached children in displacement shelters and war-affected neighborhoods, where mobility challenges pose daily hardships.

Providing medical shoes and assistive devices in Gaza, where the healthcare system is overwhelmed and resources are scarce due to the war and humanitarian crisis, plays a crucial role in protecting the health and dignity of war-affected children. Humanitarian projects like these help children in Gaza regain mobility and access a better quality of life despite war, poverty, and displacement.
