US Cardiac surgeon Dr. Imad Tabry held a scientific symposium entitled (My Journey As A Physician) at Al-Azhar University in Gaza City, where he presented the students of the Faculty of Medicine with all the various stages of his development as a heart surgeon.

This comes as part of his volunteer mission with the PCRF in the Gaza Strip, during which he performs complex open-heart surgeries for patients at Al-Shifa Hospital, in addition to training local surgeons and presenting his experiences to students. Dr. Tabry has led many medical volunteer missions to Palestine over the past two decades. He has saved the lives of dozens of patients and trained many local surgeons. PCRF is the main NGO in Palestine that sends volunteer medical missions from all over the world to improve the lives of sick children and provide surgeries that are not available locally.
