Dr. Rami Zanoun, a Palestinian psychiatrist, from Virginia, started his volunteer mission with PCRF to evaluate the PCRF's mental health project with cancer patients in Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Pediatric Cancer Department in the Gaza Strip. He also evaluated dialysis patients at Al-Rantisi Hospital, in addition to sessions provided by the PCRF's mental health team for amputee children in Gaza Strip.  Since 2014, the PCRF has been working on the mental health project, through which hundreds of children who have suffered from psychological trauma and behavioral problems as a result of wars, diseases, and social problems have been treated.
