Mohammed Gets a New Leg
Mohammed Gets a New Leg

For two years, PCRF has been supporting the children in Gaza with amputations, both in social activities, mental health services, and medical and rehabilitation treatment. Here, 16-year-old Mohammad, one of the most prominent amputee football players in the Gaza Strip, (as well as active in parkour) is getting a new leg at Hamad Hospital. He lost his leg below the knee from a gunshot would in 2018 and has not used an artificial limb in over a year. The Hamad team took his measurements to manufacture a new prosthetic limb, and he is now having adjustments and measurements to the limb, in addition to physical therapy sessions to learn to walk again with it.
