Bethlehem has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Palestine, and the risk to immune-compromised patients in our Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department in Beit Jala Hospital is very high.  Thanks to donors in our Southern California community, we were able to get the medical staff there high-quality N95 masks, which were otherwise not available to them there, to ensure better infection control during this high-risk period of the global pandemic. All medical staff in both of our cancer departments now have N95 masks to help protect our children with cancer in both Gaza and the West Bank.
