Amidst a devastating war and severe medical shortages in Gaza, Nagham, a young girl living with Type 1 diabetes, has finally received her vital insulin treatment through the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF)’s Monthly Sponsorship Program. The war, ongoing since October 7, 2023, has led to a near-total depletion of medical supplies across the Strip, leaving children like Nagham at serious risk.
After weeks of uncertainty and waiting, Nagham held her medication and smiled with relief: “Finally, the medicine arrived!” Her story reflects the harsh reality for thousands of sick children in Gaza who suffer not only from illness but from the consequences of siege and blockade.
Through the unwavering support of donors, PCRF continues to deliver urgent medications and medical care to chronically ill children. Each parcel delivered is a lifeline and a message that these children are not forgotten.
