Anwar Barash is an 18 yr old girl from Ramallah who was only three years old when she was accidently burned by boiling oil on her head, leaving her scarred and in need of reconstructive surgery. After nearly ten rounds of micro needling therapy to prepare her skin, and multiple rounds of weekly saline injected skin expansions, she underwent the corrective surgery this week at the Panacea Plastic Surgery Hospital in Atlanta. The girl is under the care of Dr. Nour Abboushi and Dr. Kimberly Singh, who are volunteering their services to help her. She is being hosted by our Atlanta PCRF chapter, and will soon be ready to return to her family in Palestine.
