Palestinian Girl Undergoes Surgery in Dallas

11-year-old Mira Amarna is a from the West Bank town of Jenin who was born with a back deformity that she could not be treated in Palestine. The PCRF sent the girl with her mother to the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas Texas, where she has been receiving specialized care to treat her spina bifida. This week, Mira underwent back surgery by Dr. Karl Rathgen, and will remain in the hospital until she is able to go back to the guest house where they are staying. Mira and her mom are being hosted by the PCRF Dallas Chapter, who have helped care for many kids over the past few years.
