This week, Dr. Frances Nathan, an ophthalmic surgeon who has been on nearly 20 volunteer missions for the PCRF in the Middle East, saving the sight of thousands of poor people, started a volunteer mission at Al Bashaer Center located in Tripoli in northern Lebanon. This mission will restore the sight for Syrian refugees in Lebanon who need cataract surgery. It's his fifth mission in Lebanon. Also joining him is his wife, occupational therapist Merlin Nathan, who will be volunteering with NGOs in the area to help provide care for children.
