This week 12-year-old Yasmeen from Nablus arrived to Salt Lake City, Utah with her mother where the girl is expected to undergo surgery to correct a back deformity. Yasmeen suffers from scoliosis and is to undergo treatment at Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children to correct her deformity, under the care of Dr. Fedorak. Her mom and her are being hosted by members of the Salt Lake community. The PCRF is the main nonprofit in the world arranging free medical care for children from the Middle East.
