PCRF Distributes Emergency Food Packages to Orphaned Children in Gaza

The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) has started distributing food packages to orphaned children who lost one or both parents during the ongoing war in Gaza. This distribution, part of the Gaza Orphan Sponsorship Program - Emergency Nutrition Program, aims to address the immediate nutritional needs of these vulnerable children, providing a lifeline in the face of displacement and hardship.

Approximately 1,200 orphaned children in the central Gaza area and an additional 770 children in the south are benefiting from this critical program. The distribution day was filled with emotional moments, as PCRF staff witnessed children and families express gratitude to the donors. These efforts reflect PCRF’s unwavering commitment to standing in solidarity with Gaza’s most vulnerable communities.

Since the beginning of the crisis, PCRF has been at the forefront of humanitarian interventions in Gaza, providing urgent aid and support to those affected. Through this program, PCRF is not only addressing hunger but also fostering hope and resilience in children who have endured immense loss.
