As part of its ongoing emergency relief efforts in Gaza, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) has launched a new drinking water distribution project across the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip to address the region’s growing water crisis.
With the war on Gaza continuing since October 7, 2023, families face an unprecedented shortage of clean drinking water due to infrastructure collapse and the high cost of purchasing water, which many can no longer afford. In response, PCRF is distributing safe, clean water directly to displaced and vulnerable families.
Since the start of the conflict, PCRF has already provided thousands of cups of drinking water, and this new initiative builds on those urgent efforts to help mitigate the severe impact of dehydration and poor sanitation on children and families living under siege.
This project is one of many emergency relief initiatives PCRF is implementing to support civilians affected by the ongoing humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
