Through its One-Time Surgery Sponsorship Program, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) provided urgent medical care for Joury, a 3-year-old girl from Ramallah suffering from a hairy nevus requiring a two-stage surgical removal.
Joury traveled to Jordan to receive specialized care. The first and urgent stage of her surgery was successfully performed at Amman Hospital by volunteer plastic surgeon Dr. Jarir Al Khaldi, funded by PCRF. The procedure aimed to reduce health risks and improve her quality of life.
This case reflects PCRF’s mission to support children in need of critical medical interventions that are unavailable locally. Joury’s care will continue under the One-Time Surgery Sponsorship Program, which helps fund urgent surgeries and treatments for children across Palestine and the region.
