As the war in Gaza enters another devastating phase, thousands of orphaned children continue to face unimaginable hardship. Through its Orphan Sponsorship Program, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), in partnership with the Zakat Foundation of America, delivered food parcels to displaced orphans across Northern, Central, and Southern Gaza—bringing critical relief despite the ongoing violence and extreme insecurity.
The distributions are part of a long-term humanitarian program funded by the Zakat Foundation of America, which has worked with PCRF for years to provide consistent care for orphaned children who have lost one or both parents due to the war in Gaza.
The effort was implemented by PCRF’s field teams, including members of the We Can! team—a core group of amputee volunteers who actively participate in delivering aid to families most in need. Their role is crucial in navigating dangerous areas and reaching children often cut off from humanitarian assistance.
PCRF remains on the ground, committed to alleviating the suffering of Gaza’s most vulnerable through reliable, impactful programs that address both urgent and long-term needs.
