PCRF’s Seventh Emergency Medical Mission Completes a Life-Saving Month in Gaza

Our seventh Emergency Medical Mission Team has successfully returned from Gaza, completing a month of relentless dedication to delivering critical medical care in the midst of crisis.

In close collaboration with local medical teams at European Gaza Hospital, the mission, led by Dr. Hussein Hemida, plastic & reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Ahmed AlFiki, neurosurgeon, and Dr. Akram Elawady, anesthesia & intensive care specialist, performed over 70 life-changing surgeries, including 18 cleft lip and palate procedures, and provided more than 300 medical consultations to those in urgent need.

Despite the overwhelming challenges, the courage of our medical volunteers and local healthcare providers never ceases to amaze us. These efforts are part of PCRF's longstanding commitment to ensuring access to specialized medical care for children and families affected by the crisis.

Thank you to the healthcare heroes and supporters who make these missions possible. Special thanks to Dr. Hussein Hemida, Dr. Ahmed AlFiki, and Dr. Akram Elawady for their invaluable dedication and expertise.
