This week, 14-year-old Mohammad, a refugee from Daraa in southern Syria, was sponsored by the PCRF for brachial cleft cyst removal surgery at the Lebanese American University Medical Center Rizk Hospital. His surgery was done by Dr Samer Serhal, and sponsored by donors through a newsletter appeal last month. The PCRF is the main NGO sponsoring surgery in Jordanian and Lebanese hospitals for refugee children whose families are too poor to provide them the care they need.
