PCRF‘s humanitarian department in Gaza is working to address specific needs in pediatric departments in the main hospitals to reduce the reduction of the morbidity and mortality rate among the children. This week we have provided urgent medication to treat low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), insulin shock, and dehydration (fluid loss)for newborn babies in Al Naser Pediatric Hospital . The project proposal was developed after one of the senior pediatrician at Al Naser Pediatric Hospital. The local staff were very appreciative of the support because the assistance arrived at a time when the stock at the hospital was low and newborns were suffering.
