Three-year-old Mohammad returned to his home in the central Gaza Strip after a treatment trip with the PCRF in Egypt that lasted an entire year. During which he underwent medical examinations and a complex liver transplant operation at the National Liver Institute. The father of the child, Mr. Salem donated part of his liver to help give his child a new life. Mohammad was suffering from a defect in liver enzymes and complications, which posed a life-threatening condition. His treatment required a liver transplant that is not available locally. His operation was successful and he and his family are very grateful to the PCRF for his treatment and care.
