Two Amputee Children Receive Rehabilitation And Prosthesis Treatment

Hamad Rehabilitation Hospital held sessions in the two departments of prosthetics and physiotherapy. Two children, Mohammad and Rashed from North Gaza both suffer from double amputations. Six-year-old Muhammad suffered severe third-degree burns as an infant that led to lower and upper amputations. Four-year-old Rashed was born with congenital deformities in his bilateral lower extremities and underwent amputations at the end of 2021 in his lower extremities above the knee. He is currently being prepared to obtain his appropriate prosthesis. Palestine Children's Relief Fund in partnership and cooperation with Hamad Rehabilitation Hospital is providing the children with the necessary rehabilitation and the appropriate prosthesis so they may live their lives with independence and productivity.
