PCRF's volunteer hand mission led by Dr. Asan Raffi and his assistant Amy Gowan from the United Kingdom completed their mission to Marka Specialist Hospital in Jordan. The team performed fourteen successful surgeries for thirteen patients. Dr. Asan is a Trauma and reconstructive senior surgeon/consultant at the Salford Royal Foundation Trust in Manchester, UK.  He has volunteered several times with PCRF in the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and Lebanon’s refugee camps and is part of our Hand Surgery Committee on our Medical Advisory Board. PCRF thanks these incredible medical volunteers who enable us to help provide life-changing, specialized medical care.
