This week, two volunteer doctors entered the Gaza Strip to start a week of arthroscopic surgery on patients at the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis. Led by Australian surgeon Dr. Tim Keenan, who has led over 15 missions to the Middle East for the PCRF, and Italian anesthesiologist Dr. Stefano Donato. The team is in Gaza at a time when there are hundreds of gunshot injuries that require orthopedic surgery, and we appreciate these volunteers giving their time to treat our patients.
