On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the PCRF San Diego chapter hosted its annual women's brunch. This sold-out event was dedicated to supporting the Healing Garden Project at Ahli Arab Hospital (Al Mamadany) in Gaza.

The afternoon featured a powerful, firsthand narrative of life in Gaza from Dr. Nada Flaifl. Dr. Flaifl also captivated the audience by sharing her musical talent, playing her 'oud and recounting its harrowing recovery from the rubble. Her resilience and brilliance, set against a backdrop of heartbreak and destruction, left a profound impact on everyone in attendance.
