On Friday, November 7, 2025, the UIC and Chicago community came together for a night of hope and solidarity with the children of Palestine. The evening highlighted the power of Palestinian art and featured inspiring words from PCRF-Chicago Vice President Sahar Alrayyes who also serves as the faculty advisor, a profound poem from Jana, a young Gaza native receiving medical treatment in Chicago through PCRF, as well as insightful remarks from Dr. Thaer Ahmed, who gave a first hand account from his recent medical missions to Gaza and words of encouragement to the students.
