Young Gaza Girl Arrives in San Francisco for Prosthetic

Yesterday, seven year old Miar from North Gaza arrived with her mother to the Bay Area to receive medical care. Miar and her supportive mother have traveled to San Francisco for Miar to acquire a lower limb prosthesis from LIM Innovations. Miar suffered from a crush injury that resulted in a lower limb amputation. She will be fitted with a new lower limb prosthetic and be put through physical therapy to gain mobile independence with her new prosthetic on. PCRF is grateful for the generous volunteer that is hosting Miar and her mother during their stay and for the Bay Area chapter’s current involvement with two ongoing children missions.
