This week, Bay Area pediatric cardiologist Dr. Mike Cooper returned to the Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department in Beit Jala Hospital to volunteer screening children undergoing chemotherapy for heart disease or defects. Dr. Cooper has volunteered on many past missions for the PCRF and screened hundreds of children in the West Bank, as well as trained local doctors in better detecting the impact of chemo on patients.
