After a week of surgery at Alia Hospital in Hebron, our four-member orthopedic surgery team from Santiago, Chile moved to the West Bank town of Jenin to start their second week treating patients with orthopedic defects. The team have volunteered many past trips for the PCRF and is led by surgeon Dr. Veronica Abdala and include surgeons Dr. Veronica Herrera Gallego and Dr. Eduardo Tamblay Sepulveda, and anesthesiologist Dr. Marcelo Ruiz Ponce. These volunteers have provided hundreds of children with free medical care and evaluations over the past several years of helping the PCRF.
