Dr. Mohammed Al Manasra is in his second month of Ophthalmic Fellowship at the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India. The Gaza eye surgeon is training in eyelid, orbital (eye socket), and lacrimal (tear drainage system) surgery, including tumors of the eyelids and orbits, thanks to the support of PCRF and our friends in Australia. He will return to Gaza in 15 months, ready to apply his training for the improved care of patients. Developing the health sector in Palestine by training local surgeons is critical for the long-term sustainable and independent care of patients.
