This week our south Gaza team began to provide families whose homes were damaged or destroyed last month during the bombing of Gaza were provided fresh water and barrels. Less than 6% of the water in Gaza can be consumed by humans, and the water shortage affects every aspect of life there. This humanitarian project is part of our ongoing urgent relief efforts and was done in cooperation with the New Jersey-based People's Community Center (Al' Ummah), who raised funds to support this initiative.
