Gaza Boy Has Surgery in Philadelphia

Last fall 14-year-old Abdullah from the Khan Younis Refugee Camp in southern Gaza traveled to Philadelphia for surgical care, and completed the first portion of his orthopedic care then. He has since healed enough for the second stage of his surgery, and this week he had surgery again on his right hip and femur. He is being treated at the Shriners Hospital for Sick Children, who have taken several of our children in the past. We hope that these surgeries will improve Abdullah’s ability to walk without pain. PCRF is grateful to the individuals of our Philadelphia chapter who have supported Abdullah during his extended care there.
