Palestinian Boy Healing from Surgery in Dubai

Earlier this year 11-year old Moaiad and his mother were sent by PCRF to Dubai for orthopedic surgery that was not available to him in Gaza. He was accepted for care through The Little Wings Foundation, an organization PCRF partners with also to run volunteer surgery missions to Gaza.

Moaiad's treatment is to correct a congenital deformity that has prevented him from being able to walk and go to school. A few amazing volunteers are tutoring Moaiad during the time between appointments in Arabic, English, and Art. Moaiad continues to undergo multiple surgeries. In between to keep his mind off the pain volunteers visit him at home.

Recently they spent the day doing arts and crafts making stick puppets. The boy and his mother are being supported by generous volunteers in Dubai during his long recovery.
