This week, a Geman volunteer surgery mission led by Dr. Walid Ayad is in the Gaza Strip providing maxillofacial surgery for complex patients at Shifa Hospital. This mission in cooperation with the German NGO Hammer Forum, who we have worked with in the past.  Included on the mission are anesthetists Dr. Daniel Sattler and Tim Gernert.  Already in 2020, six volunteer surgery missions have entered the Gaza Strip.
