Six weeks ago, fourteen-year-old Ahmed from Hebron arrived with his mother to Dallas, Texas to receive orthopedic surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital to repair a congenital hip condition that makes walking painful. Last month the boy underwent surgery to correct his hip and is recovering well.  He will have a follow-up later this month before returning home. Ahmed and his mother are staying in the Ronald McDonald House and being cared for by volunteers in our Dallas chapter.
