Children being treated in PCRF's Gaza Pediatric Cancer Department are able to receive care in a welcoming and friendly environment while receiving life-saving care for cancer and other rare diseases. Thanks to the generosity of donors around the world, kids like 9-year-old Rahaf, an Ewing Sarcoma patient from Khan Younis, 7-year-old acute lymphoblastic leukemia patient Elyas, and 11-year-old acute lymphoblastic leukemia patient Mohammed, both from Gaza, are able to enjoy iPads during their long and often uncomfortable periods of hospitalization while they undergo care for cancer. The extended times during which these children are restricted to their beds make these devices even more helpful for their ongoing happiness and mental health while receiving care.
