As part of PCRF’s June accomplishments in healthcare infrastructure, vital projects were completed to sustain and improve local healthcare services for children and families in Gaza. At Al Salam Clinic, generator maintenance was completed to help ensure uninterrupted healthcare services at a facility serving approximately 100,000 residents and around 600 patients daily. In Gaza City, PCRF also completed the establishment of a therapeutic garden at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital’s Al-Basma Center, creating a safer and more supportive healing environment for more than 3,000 children receiving care each year. Despite immense challenges, including shortages of essential resources in local markets and difficult operating conditions, PCRF continues to rebuild and strengthen Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure while helping local facilities remain operational, ensuring children and families can access the care they need.
