From June 2 to June 23, 2026, PCRF deployed Emergency Medical Mission #27 to Gaza, bringing specialized medical expertise to support local healthcare teams and provide life-saving, specialised care to patients amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The mission, led by Dr. Ahmed El Fiki and Dr. Ebeed Yassin, included six specialists in pediatric care, orthopedic surgery, and ENT, including Dr. Abdelrahman Badwy, Dr. Mohamed Kuziez, and Dr. Ahmed El Serafi. The medical team traveled from Egypt, Jordan, and the US to provide care at Nasser Medical Complex and Al-Aqsa Hospital. During the mission, they provided screenings and consultations to more than 540 patients and performed 208 surgeries, including complex procedures for patients who were unable to travel abroad for treatment due to border restrictions.
