During May, critical surgical care was provided to 337 children across the Lebanon, Jordan and West Bank through our regional surgical sponsorships Program. One of these children is Ramzyieh, a one-year-old Palestinian girl born with a large congenital hemangioma on her forehead. Through the program, she was able to receive the specialized surgery she urgently needed. The procedure was highly successful, and she is now making excellent progress in her recovery.
Ramzyieh’s story reflects the life-changing impact of this program on vulnerable children and their families. By funding essential surgical interventions, the program helps remove financial barriers that often prevent access to specialized care. This support enables children to receive timely treatment, improves their health outcomes, and provides families with renewed hope during challenging circumstances.
