Throughout April, PCRF continued delivering sustained humanitarian relief in Gaza City and across central, southern, and parts of northern Gaza Strip, reaching thousands of children and their families with life-saving support. Access to safe water remained critical, with over 2.5 million liters of drinking water delivered across affected areas, helping reduce health risks in overcrowded communities. Food assistance reached thousands of individuals through regular food parcel distributions, alongside support provided to The Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), including over 9,000 nutrition items for their beneficiaries, as well as seasonal assistance such as Easter food parcels and traditional sweets (Ka’ak and Ma’amoul) distributed to families in Gaza City. In addition, targeted nutrition interventions supported children facing acute malnutrition, with approximately 2,400 specialized nutrition parcels, alongside infant formula and cereal cans distributions to over 10,000 children. Hygiene interventions also continued throughout the month, with around 3,000 hygiene kits distributed, supporting families in maintaining basic sanitation and reducing disease risks.
