Completing a New Spinal Surgical Mission in Jordan

In early February 2026, PCRF carried out a spinal surgical mission at Al-Kindi Hospital in Amman, Jordan, performing two complex surgeries to correct severe scoliosis and congenital spinal deformities. These life-saving procedures restore spinal alignment, a condition that, if left untreated, can impair lung function, mobility, and overall growth. The team, traveling from Palestine, was led by long-time PCRF volunteer Dr. Nazeeh Abu Dayyah, specialist in scoliosis and spinal surgery, and included Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Mohammed Hijazi and OR Nurse Nader Amer. We sincerely thank them for their expertise and for giving children a chance at a healthier, more active life.
