In a new approach to delivering specialised care, PCRF conducted a Local Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Urology Medical Mission from 28 August to 3 September at the Ramallah Government Hospital Medical Complex (PMC – Sheikh Zayed). Led by local surgeons Dr. Mosaikah Anati, Dr. Ahmad Shlatf, and Dr. Wael Amro, with Dr. Maryam Oweida serving as Resident Physician, the team screened 40 children and performed 39 life-changing surgeries, helping improve children’s health and overall quality of life. Through PCRF’s Local Medical Missions model, we work with existing healthcare institutions and medical professionals to deliver care more efficiently and respond to patients’ needs in a timely way, while navigating the logistical challenges of international medical missions. Read the full story.
