In August, 399 children across the West Bank, Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan received critical surgical care through PCRF’s Direct Surgical Program, helping them access the treatment they needed to improve their health, mobility, and quality of life. The program supported 237 children in the West Bank, 106 in Lebanon, 17 in Egypt, and 39 in Jordan. Among them were Hassan, 3 months old, who received cleft lip and palate surgery; Aylool, 2.5 years old, who received a procedure to help her sleep more comfortably; Mila, 3 years and 9 months old, who underwent a procedure for an issue with her arm; Khaled, 2 years old, who received corrective surgery to support his development; Umran, an infant who received corrective surgery; and Nay, 1 year old, who received a procedure to support her healthy growth and development. Through the continued support of our donors and partners, PCRF helps more children access essential surgical care when they need it.
